KPR celebrates 45 years in publishing

On February 8, 2015, the India International Centre saw a galaxy of dignitaries descend upon its Fountain Lawn to join KPR Nair in celebrating 45 years in publishing. Nair is the managing director of Konark Publishers Pvt Ltd and has worked with publishing houses such as Pearson Education & Vikas Publishing before Konark and has been responsible for publishing authors such as Dr Hamid Ansari, Dr Amrik Singh, MK Kaw, Chandra Shekhar, Amar Bhushan, Kuldip Nayar among many others.

The tables had a small note from Pearson bearing testimony to the hard work and initiative he had shown. While the guests milled around, several of his former colleagues and other professionals he had mentored came forth to share their thoughts and experiences while working or interacting with him.
