Taylor & Francis (T&F), a global leader in academic publishing, and National Communication Association (NCA) are launching a new journal, Communication and Race, adding even more robust scholarship to their strong communication studies portfolios.

This is the 12th journal Taylor & Francis publishes on behalf of NCA, a U.S. non-profit scholarly association focused on advanced communications studies for scholars, teachers, and practitioners. According to the publishers, the launch of this journal contributes to the need for greater inclusion, diversity, equity, and access (IDEA) within the field of both study and profession, as well as in the academic publishing industry-at-large.

Communication and Race will be part of T&F’s “Open Select” Humanities, Media, and Arts Portfolio and will be published under the company’s Routledge imprint. A Call for Papers is currently underway, and researchers and scholars can submit through the Taylor & Francis Submission Portal, which provides a streamlined submission process and an industry-leading response time for authors and researchers, no matter their career stage.
